Rewari is a city and a municipal council in Rewari district in the Indian state of Haryana. It is located in south-west Haryana around 82 km from Delhi and 51 km from Gurgaon. The whole district consists of 412 villages and 348 Panchayats. When the National Capital Region (NCR) was formed three decades ago around Delhi, the capital of India, Rewari was included, as it is only 60 km from the Delhi boundary.
